Our products are built for everyday reliability. This Warranty Policy explains what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to make a warranty claim.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) always apply and are not limited by this policy.

Warranty Coverage

Our Warranty Against Defects covers manufacturing faults in materials or workmanship under normal use.

Warranty periods

  • RFID-blocking cards: 5 years
  • Traka smart-tracking products: 2 years
  • Accessories: 1 year (Key Guard pouches, Passport Sleeve and other non-electronic items)

If a fault appears during the warranty period, we’ll repair, replace, or refund the item depending on the issue and your ACL rights.

What’s Considered a Defect

A defect is a failure caused by manufacturing or materials — for example:

  • device not powering or functioning as described
  • RFID protection not working as intended
  • tracking hardware malfunction
  • stitching or bonding faults (for accessories)

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • accidental or cosmetic damage
  • misuse, drops, crushing or neglect
  • unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • normal wear and tear
  • loss or theft
  • damage from improper storage, liquids, extreme heat or chemicals

ACL rights still apply where relevant.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To lodge a claim:

  1. Email us at info@sosimplesolutions.com.au
  2. Include your order number, product details, a description of the issue, and photos or video if helpful
  3. We’ll review your claim and let you know the next steps

If approved, we’ll organise a repair, replacement or refund based on product type and the nature of the defect.

Returning a Faulty Product

If we request the product be returned:

  • we’ll provide the correct return address
  • we’ll cover return shipping where the item is confirmed faulty
  • Please pack the item securely to avoid further damage

Once inspected, we’ll confirm the outcome with you.

Timeframes

We aim to acknowledge warranty claims within 5–10 business days.

Processing times may vary depending on the issue and product type, but we always try to resolve claims as quickly as possible.

Your ACL Rights

If a product suffers a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or replacement.

For minor issues, we may repair or replace the item.

These rights operate alongside this warranty and are not restricted by it.
